Total amount of automobile transportation in the Republic of Uzbekistan equaled to 1634,6 thousand units in January 1, 2011 and this indicator is increasing year by year. Annual growth of automobile fleet of Uzbekistan approximately accounts for 30%. As a result of increase in the level of population welfare, number of privately-owned cars has been increasing accordingly.

According to State Oil and Gas Inspection of Uzbekistan, the amount of cars that use liquefied and compressed gas as alternative fuel will account for 29% from the total number of automobile transportation in the country in the beginning of 2016.
