Central Bank of Uzbekistan (CBU) adopted a resolution “On introduction of amendments to regulation on requirements to capital adequacy of commercial banks”.
In line with the document, now commercial banks cannot adopt decision on payment (announcement) dividends if their charter capital was not fully formed, except increasing charter capital via additional emission.
The banks also cannot pay dividends if the bank has insolvency (bankruptcy) signs or in case they appear after dividend payment.

Resolution of President of The Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 22 2009 ? PP-1245 “On forecasting of main macroeconomic indicators and parameters of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2010”. According to Resolution the income tax rate for legal entities is cut by one percent and set at 9 % in 2010, the income tax for commercial banks remains at 15 %. Minimal income tax rate for physical parties is cut by 1 %.
