Russia’s Lukoil ups gas reserves at Uzbekistan deposit by 20 bcm
Russian oil major Lukoil has increased commercial reserves of natural gas at the Khauzak-Shady deposit in southwest Uzbekistan by 20 billion cubic meters, Lukoil subsidiary Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company, which is the operator of the project, said in a statement Thursday.
Specifically, Lukoil transferred some gas reserves under the C1 category and C2 category to oil reserves under the B category.
Lukoil started production at the Khauzak-Shady deposit in 2007 as part of the Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad gas project, in which Lukoil holds a 90% stake and Uzbek national holding company Uzbekneftegaz holds a 10% stake. (Prime-Tass)
