Samarqand-based Siyob Chashmasi has opened a subsidiary Taylok Bahmali specializing in the production of velvet.
This agro-industrial company involved in processing and exporting agricultural produce from year to year expands its activities. In particular, last year the company established manufacturing of plasterboard based on German technology.
“Full support granted to small businesses and private entrepreneurship in the country provides us a powerful stimulus for the expansion of our activities,” said Shahriyor Marupov, director of agro-industrial firm Siyob Chashmasi. The affiliated enterprise Taylok Bahmali is equipped with latest technologies. The enterprise produces 300-400 meters of various velvet fabrics per day. With the load at full capacity, the company plans to raise this figure to a thousand of meters. Additional machines to be installed in the second half of the year will enable us to produce clothing and other products of velvet.”
Currently, the company employs more than 80 representatives of rural youth. Toward the end of the year the company will create about a hundred more jobs. (ut.uz)
