Tethys Petroleum Limited offers 30 m common shares KYG876361091 worth USD46.5 m
 

Tethys Petroleum Limited ('Tethys' or the 'Company') announced completion of the earlier announced private offering of 30,000,000 common shares with gross profit USD46.5 m (the 'Offering'). Fraser Mackenzie Limited acted as a Canadian agent. The common shares were offered at CAD1.55 a share. Company common shares are trading on Toronto Stock Exchange (TRL). The net profit raised in the Offering will be used for capital expenditures and general corporate goals. In accordance with the Canadian Securities laws one of the subscribers shall be an interested party of the Company. Additional information in regard of the interested party's stake in the Offering is contained in the Report on substantial changes submitted February 19, 2010 in accordance with the Canadian Securities laws. Tethys directors and employees did not take part in the Offering. The payment for acquisition of 29,300,000 common shares was made March , 2010; the payment for acquisition of 700,000 common shares is expected to be made today. (03/03/2010 kase.kz)
