About 1.108trln soums used to construction in Uzbekistan in 1H 2010

Out of the total volume of investments utilized in the non-production sphere (1.99 trillion soums) in Uzbekistan, about 1.108 trillion soums or 55.7% of their volume were used in housing construction in the first half of 2010.
In January-June 2010, about 37,600 apartments with the total space of 4.417 million square meters (+10.2% year-on-year), including 3.113 million square meters (+19.3%) in rural area, were built and put into operation, Uzbek STate Statistics Committee said.
