VimpelCom’s net operating revenue in Uzbekistan makes up US$51.4m in 2Q

Net operating revenue of VimpelCom Ltd. (VimpelCom) in Uzbekistan fell by 2.3% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2010 to US$51.4 million (US$52.65 million in 2Q 2010).
Revenue from mobile communication made up US$48.9 million (-1.2%) in the second quarter of 2010. Revenue from fixed communication in Uzbekistan decreased by 19.4% to US$2.5 million in the reporting period (US$3.1m in 2Q 2009).
Adjusted OIBDA made up US$20.1 million in the second quarter of 2010, which is 25.3% less compared to the same period of 2009. OIBDA of mobile communication comprised US$19.2 million in the second quarter (-25.3%). OIBDA of fixed communication in the second quarter of 2010 fell by 25% to US$0.9 million (US$1.2 million in 2Q 2009).
